Dr. Jack Taylor Songbird Carvings
Kansas City, Missouri

The following photo gallery is carved from a "Chunk" of wood and many from a single piece. It takes many hours of detail wood burning to create the feathers of each bird and each piece is then painted with acrylics.
The feet and legs are made from brass welding rod and dental acrylic. Each foot is individually constructed.
Each piece is distinctly different, but carved to natural size of the species unless noted.
